Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies and an Iowa State Patrol Trooper on Friday took Burr Oak resident Mark Schroeder into custody on three active arrest warrants.
Schroeder was supposed to show up in court on Tuesday afternoon, but did not. A judge then issued a warrant for Schroeder on a charge of failure to appear, a Class D felony. Warrants were also issued for Schroeder on Theft in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony and Burglary in the Third Degree Failure to Appear for Sentencing.
Schroeder faced the charge of third degree burglary for a break-in at Silver Springs Golf Course in Ossian last July and the charge of second degree theft for taking material from Voltmer Electric in Decorah.
Schroeder was at his home in Burr Oak when he was arrested by police without incident.
Bond for Schroeder has been set at a combined $27,500 cash. He is being held in the Winneshiek County Jail.
