Sheriff's deputies respond to Monday truck rollover

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office would called to County W-42 on Monday for a report of an overturned utility construction truck.

39-year-old Dan Batterson of Ossian was southbound on the highway when he lost control of the truck, owned by Structural Contracting Inc. of Ossian.  The truck rolled over and Batterson sustained "non-life threatening injuries."

Batterson was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center by ambulance.  He was charged with failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
