The family of Adam J Bohr and McClure Engineering Company are pleased to announce the recipients of the 4th annual Adam J Bohr Scholarship.  This Engineering scholarship is awarded based on community involvement, extra-curricular activities, scholastic standing, and a short essay as to why the individual plans to study engineering.

McClure Engineering Company of North Liberty and the family of 1993 Decorah High School graduate Adam Bohr have given scholarships to five Decorah HS students in Adam's name..

Nicholas Gossling of Decorah has received $2,000 scholarship to help him study engineering at Iowa State University.

A second scholarship is offered in the North Liberty Iowa area but since there were no applicants who met the qualifications in the North Liberty area, that scholarship money was equally divided among four other Decorah High School students--Patrick Murphy, Bryton Meyer, Brady Dawley and Carl Iverson, all of Decorah.

Adam was a 1993 graduate of Decorah High School, who was the Regional Manager for McClure Engineering Company.  Adam died December 1st, 2010 on his 36th birthday after a year long battle with cancer.   He was the son of Annette Bohr-Wiltgen of Decorah and the late Kenneth Bohr and the grandson of Jerome and Norma Einck of Decorah.
