Northeast Iowa RC&D announces arts grants

The Northeast Iowa Resource Conservation and Development Employee Giving Fund is announcing their 2014 "Power of Art" grant award recipients. 

14 projects aimed at preschool through 12th grade youth art programs were funded, including four from Winneshiek County:

--ArtHaus for help in launching their new Teen Apprentice Program.

--North Winnshiek Boosters for supplies to make willow sculpture models.

--The Clay Studio to purchase a mobile kiln.

--The New Minowa Players to help fund the Annual Children's Show.
