Spring is here!

Everything looks green!

Remember when decorahnews.com wrote on January 2nd that December had been much colder than normal in Decorah?  Or when we wrote on January 14th about the strong winter storm that hit Decorah?  Or on February 17th, when we wrote about an approaching storm?  Or on February 19th, when we wrote about frozen water mains?  Or on February 21st, when we announced Decorah and North Winneshiek schools were closed for the day?  Or....

OK, we think you probably do remember the winter that would not end.

But after the bad weather stretched into April and even the beginning of May, the end of May is shaping up as redemption--and this Thursday could be the best weather of it all.  Forecasters say we can expect a high in the low 70s on Thursday and clear blue skies.

So take time Thursday to enjoy the nice weather.  In case you forgot, you deserve it!
