Decorah HS student wins $2,000 Iowa Masons scholarship

Decorah High School senior Alexis Hove has been awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the Masons of Iowa.

Hove is the daughter of Todd and Tami Hove of Decorah and has been an active member of Decorah Lutheran Church, Band, Choir, National Honor Society, D-Club, Track, Basketball, and Volleyball while in high school. 

She was one of 60 students selected out of 650 applicants statewide to receive a $2,000 scholarship.  Tim Felton and Mike Root of Decorah Great Lights Lodge #181 presented Alexis with her scholarship at Decorah High School on Tuesday.
