The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life for Winneshiek and Chickasaw counties is now more than $20,000 richer--thanks to the Fourth Annual Kiss A Pig Contest.

The contest wrapped up Thursday afternoon, with eight contestants gathering outside the KVIK Radio studios.  Josh Blake of KNEI; Don Koshatka of Clet Koshatka Farm Equipment; Tom Ridout of NICC; Chris Redenius of Bodensteiner Implement; Charlie Lynch of Lynch Livestock; Luther College Head Wrestling Coach Dave Mitchell; Rubaiyat proprietor Andy Bonnet; and Perry Laures of Vern Laures Auto all got their chance to kiss the pig, the culmination of raising money from supporters in exchange for the "honor" of winning the contest.  Andy Bonnet was the top fundraiser.

The contest was co-sponsored by Lynch Livestock of Waucoma, with money donated both to Chickasaw and Winneshiek counties.
