Ryan Burras begins work as physical therapist at Winneshiek Med Center

Physical therapist Ryan Burras has started working at the Winneshiek Medical Center Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine department.  He provides outpatient physical therapy services, and has special interest in treating overhead throwing and golf injuries.  Said Burras, "I help athletes improve their technique to prevent injury, or guide them through recovery if an injury has already occurred."

Burras is a 2006 Decorah High School graduate.  He received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Clarke University in Dubuque.  He then practiced outpatient physical therapy with Physiotherapy Associates in Cedar Rapids, and served as a clinic director since 2013.
