Mayo Clinic has earned the #8 ranking on the 2014 DiversityInc Top 10 Hospitals and Health Systems list for its continued commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Among the factors cited by DiversityInc were Mayo Clinic's national outreach to diverse communities and organizations and its ever-growing digital and social media presence among non-English-speaking audiences, particularly with those who speak Spanish and Arabic.

Said Mayo Clinic President and CEO John Noseworthy, "As our patients become more diverse, we are actively building a diverse workforce across the organization, from entry-level employees to leaders."

The rankings are determined by a 300-question survey filled out by personnel at the participating companies. Survey participation is free to any company with at least 1,000 U.S. workers.
