A murder trial scheduled to be heard in Winneshiek County in June has now been postponed until October.
40-year-old Alexander Fazzino, formerly of Boone, faces one count of first-degree murder. The body of his wife, Emily Fazzino, was found on the bathroom floor of the couple's home in Boone in January 2012. Emily Fazzino was the daughter of former Fareway Stores CEO and chairman of the board Richard Beckwith.
On-line court records show Fazzino's trial has been postponed until October 27 at the Winneshiek County Courthouse in Decorah. Fazzino remains free on a $500,000 bond.
