Letter to the Editor: Thanks, Luther students!

(John & Patti Bay of Decorah have submitted the following Letter to the Editor):

We want to offer our congratulations to all those Luther College students who donated their time, effort, and money in making Luther's first annual Dance Marathon for the Children's Miracle Network/University of Iowa Children's Hospital a huge success.  The Saturday twelve hour celebration of love for those most vulnerable among us, the children, raised $38,612....a remarkable feat for only the first year.  These young adults (nearly 1/4 of the campus population) can feel extremely proud of the good they did for others in need of the love and medical expertise available to all at Children's Hospital.  Thank you, Luther students.  And yes..."everyone deserves a chance".
