This week, the Decorah Public Library joins libraries in schools, campuses and communities nationwide in celebrating National Library Week.
During National Library Week, Decorah Public Library is offering several programs for children and young adults, three tech help sessions for adults, a world affairs discussion group, and a history book discussion group.
Also in honor of National Library Week, anyone with overdue library materials may take advantage of fine amnesty: simply bring overdue items to the front desk of the library, let a staff member know that they are overdue, and all fines for those items will be removed.
For more information, visit the Decorah Public Library at 202 Winnebago St., call 382-3717 or see the library's Web site at www.decorah.lib.ia.us. Library hours are Mon-Thurs 10 a.m.- 8 p.m., Fri/Sat 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
