Alliant Energy spokesperson Ryan Stensland says, "At 10:56 p.m. on April 8th we lost power to 462 customers as a result of an equipment issue. Power was restored to all customers at 11:36 p.m. The issue was that the cable where the line comes from the underground to the overhead (they call that the 'Dip') was faulty."
