Keep running your faucet, City of Decorah advises

The Decorah Water Department says even though temperatures have been rising recently, anyone with frost problems should continue running water from their faucets to prevent problems.

The frost level actually sinks at the onset of warmer weather before it disappears from the soil.  Water Department officials say it's probably a good idea to keep running a small stream of water until next week.
