City council approves 2014 agreement with Winneshiek Farmers Market

The 2014 Winneshiek Farmers Market will operate in the lower Co-op parking lot from Saturday, May 3rd through Saturday, November 1st.
The Decorah City Council Monday evening approved the city's contract with the organization. There were just two minor changes from last year's contract: allowing a slightly larger shed on the parking lot and allowing a November 1st session.
Winneshiek Farmers Market manager Steve Mc Cargar told city council members the farmers market move to the lower Co-op parking lot has been "dramatically successful."
