The third Decorah bald eagle chick has hatched

All three of the Decorah Eagle eggs have now hatched. 

The last one began hatching around 9:00 a.m. Monday and was free of the shell at around 10:30 a.m.

Said Raptor Resource Project Director Bob Anderson, "I am completely amazed that this pair of eagle hatched all three eggs (despite) extreme low temperatures and heavy snows."
