The Decorah Education Association and the Decorah Community School District have reached a tentative contract agreement for the 2014-2015 school year.
The terms of the agreement call for a 4.1 percent increase in overall school district costs. That figure includes salary increases, health insurance payments, IPERS retirement payments and more.
In addition to the financial settlement, the agreement includes some minor changes to the language in the contract.
Both the teachers association and the Decorah School Board still need to officially ratify the contract agreement.
