Trail horse ride postponed until this fall

Here's another example of how the impact of our severe winter is being felt: a fundraising horse ride by local members of the American Competitive Trail Horse Association has been postponed until this fall.

The trail ride first was scheduled for March 22nd and then for April 5th, but trail conditions wouldn't allow the ride to be held.  Now there has also been an outbreak of Equine Herpes Virus, so the ACTHA fundraiser ride has been rescheduled to September 13th.

The ride this fall will begin and end at 1957 Meadowlark Road in Decorah, rather than the Bluffton Store.
