Traffic accident in Wyoming claims the life of a former Decorah resident

A traffic accident on Interstate 25 in Wyoming last weekend claimed the life of a former Decorah resident, Catherine Faye Doty Case.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the crash killed the 57-year-old Case and her long-time companion, 52-year-old James R. Cannon, both of Gurnsey, Wyoming.

The crash happened just before 7:00 a.m. Saturday on I-25 about seven miles north of Douglas, Wyoming.  The Interstate was icy and snow-packed at the time of the accident.  The vehicle went into the median and rolled over two complete times.

Interstate 25 was closed for much of Saturday morning because of the crash.
