Farmers Union Cooperative has donated $5,000 to the new Winneshiek Medical Center Ossian Clinic. The clinic opened earlier this month.
Farmers Union Cooperative general manager Dave Hemesath said, "We really feel this clinic is a greatly needed facility for the city of Ossian and all the people in southern Winneshiek County."
The WMC Ossian Clinic provides full-time family medicine services for patients of all ages, such as well-child exams, athletic physicals, well-woman exams, care for chronic illness like diabetes, hypertension and lung disease, immunizations, wellness labs, strep tests and same day appointments for illness. The clinic also provides Occupational Health Services for area businesses who would like their business health needs met, such as DOT physicals and drug screens, right in Ossian. Additionally, the new clinic offers rehabilitation services, including weekly Pilates and Senior Circuit fitness classes.
