Parks and Recreation seeking donations for post prom party

The Decorah Parks and Recreation Department is asking for donations to support the 31st Annual Post Prom Party for Decorah High School students on Saturday, April 26th, at Marty's Cafe in the Luther College Student Union.

The event will follow the dance and grand march at Decorah High School.  It will feature a brand new show by hypnotist Jeff Michaels. Other entertainment for the evening will include casino games, billiards, minute-to-win-it games, a money machine, snacks, socializing and great prizes.
 
The post prom party is not a Decorah School activity, but is sponsored by the Decorah Parks and Recreation Department and CREW, a group of volunteers that works to provide entertainment and activities for local youth.  CREW relies on donations from individuals and local businesses to help make these events possible.  
 
If you would like to make a cash donation, please send your check to CREW, PO Box 513, Decorah, IA 52101.  Merchandise is also accepted.  Please contact the Decorah Park-Rec. Office at 382-4158 if you would like pick up your donation.
