An oil crayon drawing by Grace Gerleman, the daughter of Connie and Myles Gerleman of Decorah, has been selected as one of 17 artworks to be displayed at the Iowa Youth Art Month Governor's show at the State Capitol in Des Moines.

Grace's drawing was created in her art class under the direction of art teacher Carol Gaustad.  The fourth grader's artwork will hang in the Governor's offices throughout the month of March.

Grace and her parents, along with other award winners, were invited to attend a special reception and tour of the State Capitol, including a meeting with Governor Terry Branstad and Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds on March 10th.
