Decorah Police say they have arrested two people on drug charges.
Officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 9 at Highway 52 around 6:00 Sunday night as part of their Special Traffic Enforcement Program for the St. Patrick's Day weekend. During the stop officers found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and items used in the distribution of narcotics, as well as a large amount of baked goods containing marijuana.
22-year-old Alexandre Vissoky of La Crosse was arrested on charges of Conspiracy to Deliver Marijuana, a Class D Felony; Failure to Affix a Tax Stamp, also a Class D felony; and Possession of a Controlled Substance, a serious misdemeanor.
21-year-old Cody Lange of La Crosse was arrested on the same three charges, along with an additional charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired, Second Offense--an aggravated misdemeanor.
