St. Benedict School students chosen for Honor Band, Honor Choir

Several students from St. Benedict School in Decorah have been selected for an Honor Band and Honor Choir.

Those chosen for the Tri-State Honor Band held at Decorah High School earlier this month were 7th grader Cassidy Carolan on clarinet; 7th grader Isaac Fish on horn; 8th grader Emily Franzen on clarinet; 8th grader Jenna Galligan on percussion and 8th grader Kaitlyn Rooney on clarinet.

Eight St. Benedict School students have been chosen for the NEICDA Honor Choirs in April.  Thomas Hadley, Elijah Mitchell, Joseph Seo and Seth Shindelar will sing at the 5th and 6th grade Honor Choir on April 22nd.  Jack Berlage, Isaac Fish, Lizzie Hartman and Brynne Valkosky will sing at the 7th and 8th grade Honor Choir on April 29th.  Both concerts will be held at the Williams Performing Arts Center in Oelwein.
