22 Decorah High School students receive perfect scores at the Individual State Speech Contest

The Decorah Vikings had excellent results at the Individual State Speech Contest at Starmont High School over the weekend.

Over the 41 speech performers sent by Decorah HS to the event, 31 of them received "1," or "excellent," ratings.  Of those 31, 22 received "1" scores from all three judges.

The Iowa High School Speech Association will select some of the Individual State Speech Contest performers to participate in the All-State Festival March 31st at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.  The names of those selected will be posted on the IHSSA website, www.ihssa.org, late Monday afternoon.
