Postville resident ticketed after traffic accident on Highway 9

89-year-old La Verne Cook of Postville has been ticketed for Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle after a two-car accident on Highway 9 on Sunday afternoon.

80-year-old Gerald Guyer of Postville slowed down because of deer in the roadway, but Cook was unable to stop.  The two vehicles collided, causing a total of $7,300 in damages.  Neither driver was injured.
