New Minowa Players theater group is accepting scholarship applications

Decorah's community theatre group, The New Minowa Players, is again offering scholarship(s) to a member of the senior class of Decorah, South Winneshiek or Turkey-Valley High Schools who has shown an interest in some area of drama and intends to pursue that involvement in an accredited college or vocational school.
 
This is the 23rd year in a row the NMP has offered such a scholarship.  32 scholarships have been awarded over the previous 22 years.  Last year Bretta Krieg from Decorah High School and Becca Lensing from South Winneshiek received scholarships.

Application forms for the $200 scholarship may be obtained from the NMP website http://newminowa.wix.com/new-minowa-players  and must be submitted for review by the Selection Committee no later than March 28th. For more information, contact Donalee Burns, program coordinator, at (563) 382-3728.
