I have been fascinated by the overthrow of the government of Ukraine.
It's interesting to me that those in power seemed to hold all the advantages. The people cried out against this oppression, saying the corrupt and merciless rulers didn't care about the will of the people.
Those who were protesting seemed to be facing such an uphill battle. It seemed like dark times would last forever in Ukraine. But one day the people overthrew the oppressors, despite the terrible odds.
I see a parallel in Decorah, believe it or not. Here, too, the days seemed very dark and it seemed like the oppression would last forever--until one day it didn't.
That's right--SPRING IS COMING!!!!!
