Winneshiek County Protectors: Don't confuse us with the Community Rights Alliance for Winneshiek County

The Winneshiek County Protectors has issued a statement following the presentation Monday by the Community Rights Alliance of Winneshiek County:

"The Winneshiek County Protectors has submitted proposed changes in the County Comprehensive Plan and the Zoning Ordinance to the Board of Supervisors and Planning and Zoning Commission.  Both sets of proposals (by Winneshiek County Protectors and Community Rights Alliance of Winneshiek County) seek to protect the beauty, health and economic strength of our County and region.  We believe operating within the existing legal process and structure of Planning and Zoning regulation is the proper way to achieve our goal.  The Community Rights Alliance proposal shares the Protectors' goal, but seeks to reach it in another way.
