Decorah man facing meth charges will enter plea agreement

After Decorah Police raided a home in Decorah, 53-year-old Richard Asegan, Junior of Decorah was charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine (a Class B felony); Possession of a Drug Precursour Pseudoephedrine (a Class D felony) and Possession of a Drug Precursor Lithium (a Class D felony).

Aswegan was scheduled to appear in Winneshiek County District Court on Tuesday, in preparation for a jury trial on February 26th.  But that trial now has been cancelled and Aswegan will be back in court on March 25th at a hearing involving a proposed plea agreement in the case..
