Burr Oak man accepts plea agreement on theft and burglary charges

Burr Oak resident Mark Schroeder, has agreed to accept a plea offer from prosecutors.  Schroeder is accused of third degree burglary for a break-in at Silver Springs Golf Course in Ossian in July and with second degree theft for the alleged taking of material from Voltmer Electric in Decorah.

Schroeder was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, but that hearing was cancelled.  Instead Schroeder will be back in court next Tuesday, February 18th, to enter a plea to the agreement reached with prosecutors.
