Over 80 people attended the Lake Meyer Fishing Derby

The annual Lake Meyer Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday attracted over 80 people, despite the frigid cold.

Prizes were awarded for the heaviest fish.  Allen Massman of Calmar took home 1st place in the bluegill category, with Carl Stevenson of Waukon taking 2nd place.

Mike Gustafson of Jesup won first place in the crappie category, while 8-year-old Cody Meyer of Calmar took second.
