The North Winneshiek School Board held a public hearing Monday regarding the 2014-2015 school year calendar, but took no action. A vote is expected in either March or April to approve the 2014-2015 school year calendar.
During the hearing, the school board opened the floor for public input regarding the start date waiver and the way in which instructional time is counted. There were no comments taken from the public. The board can choose between 180 days or 1080 hours for the minimum time of classroom instruction.
