Remington named "WMC Provider of the Year"

Dr. William Remington has been named "Provider of the Year" by Winneshiek Medical Center.

Remington has been a Mayo Clinic Health System Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon at WMC since 2002.  He is currently president of WMC's Medical Staff and is a member of its Management Committee.

Nominations from staff included statements like:"His positive attitude is infectious;" "I have great respect for his patient-focused care;" and "He will spend the time needed to meet the patient's needs."

Dr. Remington received his medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago.  He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in ear, nose and throat, head and neck surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
