An art exhibit of hand-painted images on wood will go on display Wednesday in Preus Library on the Luther College campus.
The exhibit will feature the works of Graceland University associate professor of fine art Zane Vredenburg. Vredenburg created pieces for the exhibit during January and will present them publicly for the first time at Luther on Wednesday.
Vredenburg serves as the chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Division at Graceland University. He has worked for more than 15 years in the graphic/website design field as both a creator and an instructor, and has also contributed to more than a dozen art exhibits in the past decade.
Vredenburg holds a bachelor's degree in graphic design and fine art from Grand View College and a master of fine arts degree in integrated visual arts from Iowa State University.
