Winneshiek County Development, Inc. presented six awards at a luncheon Monday at Luther College.
The "Impact Award" was presented to the Iowa Dairy Center near the NICC campus in Calmar and to Oneota Valley Family Eye Clinic of Decorah, which opened a new larger clinic in December of 2012.
The "Pioneer Award" was presented to Iroc Web Design Services of Calmar, the developer, designer and maintainer of more than 225 websites in the Midwest.
The "Partners in Progress Award" was presented to Graphics, Inc. of Calmar, a commercial web offset printing company.
The "Sustainability Award" was presented to The Depot Outlet of Decorah, which not only recycles discarded clothing and small household goods, but donated more than $100,000 of its proceeds to non-profit organizations in Winneshiek County in 2013.
The "Century Award" was presented to Winneshiek Medical Center. WMC Board Member Roger Huinker, WMC Chief Administrative Officer Gretchen Dahlen and WMC Medical Director Dr. Steven Davis were on hand to receive the award.
Finally, Ron Stoskopf was recognized for his services as WCDI Board President from 2011-13.
