Fire at Cho Sun restaurant ruled accidental

An investigator from the State Fire Marshal's Office has wrapped up his work on January 8th's early morning fire at Cho Sun Restaurant in Decorah.

Mark Sand tells decorahnews.com that the fire was of undetermined origin.  However, Sand says he "did not see anything out of the ordinary" and he has ended his investigation.

Meanwhile, a Decorah Fire Department representative estimates that temperatures in the fire reached 1,000 degree fahrenheit.  While that is high, it's not unusual temperatures for a fire of that nature.
