School Board sets hearing for "instructional hours vs. instructional days"

On Wednesday the Decorah Community School Board set 6:05 p.m, February 10, 2014 for a public hearing regarding the 2014-2015 School Calendar. The Board will decide whether to opt for instructional hours vs. days to comply with state requirements. Superintendent Haluska has recommended that the Board change to the instructional hour standard, as opposed to the current minimum days standard.
