Decorah Mayor Don Arendt names committee chairs

Decorah Mayor Don Arendt is shaking up some of the assignments to city committees. 

With three new members of the Decorah City Council, Arendt has left Paul Wanless as the chair of the city's Budget & Finance Committee and Gary Rustad the chair of the Street Committee, but the five other committees will have new chairs.

Jody Niess will chair the city's Personnel Committee; Charles Lore will head the Utilities Committee; Randy Schissel will chair the Community Betterment Committee; Tade Kerndt will chair the Property Committee and Bill Wagner will lead the Public Safety Committee.
