Five Decorah High School students play key roles at Dorian Vocal Festival

Each year the Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College holds a competition to select soloists for the festival grand concert.

At this year's just-concluded Dorian Vocal Festival 275 students competed for a spot as a soloist.  Five Decorah High School vocalists advanced to the semi-final round--TJ Misseldine, son of Tom and Karen Misseldine; Blake Taylor, son of Brian and Brenda Taylor; Aidan Spencer, daughter of Randi Berg and Matt Spencer, Brad Suhr, son of Jeff and Amy Suhr, and Nick Vande Krol, son of Scott and Kris Vande Krol.

Aidan Spencer, Brad Suhr and Nick Vande Krol were selected as competition winners performed during the festival grand concert.
