ArtHaus seeks entries for Emerging Artists Exhibition

ArtHaus in Decorah is seeking artists from the ages of 18 to 23 to submit 2-D and 3-D artwork to the 4th Annual Emerging Artists' Exhibition.

The exhibition, which will be held in April, is open to residents and students of the Driftless region of northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota and southwest Wisconsin living within 150 mile radius of Decorah.  The deadline for submission is Friday, February 28th.
           
Applicants interested in this juried show are requested to submit artworks completed within the last year.  Each applicant may submit up to three artworks.  All forms of media are welcome. Jurors will include area college professors, professional artists, and a board member of Driftless Art Collective (D.ART Co.).

Interested applicants must send digital images with an application form, brief artist statement, and entry fee of $20 by February 28th to ArtHaus 508 W. Water Street, Decorah, IA 52101. Artists will be notified by Monday, March 17th, if their work has been selected and feedback from jurors will be available.
           
Best of Show will receive a $200 cash prize and a solo exhibition at ArtHaus in 2014-2015. Runner-up will receive a $100 cash prize, and two Honorable Mention Awards will be given. The public is invited to view the selected works at  a free opening reception at ArtHaus on Friday, April 4 from 7-9pm sponsored by Rubaiyat Restaurant.
