Jaws of Life needed to remove driver in semi accident

A Harpers Ferry man lost control of the semi he was driving Friday morning on 340th Street west of Highway 52.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department says Gary Grimm entered the north ditch of the road, at which point the semi and the attached trailer rolled onto their sides.

Grimm was trapped inside the semi's cab.  The Decorah Frie Department was called to the scene to free Grimm.  He was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center by ambulance.  Grimm was treated for injuries and later released.
