Decorah football players earn Academic All-State recognition

Decorah High School senior football players Dustin Cary, Nick Gossling, and Bryce Pierce have received Academic All-State football recognition from the Iowa Football Coaches Association.  The three will be recognized before the start of next Thursday's wrestling match in Decorah.  Dustin is the son of Lyle and Mary Beth Cary, Nick is the son of Scott and Stacey Gossling, and Bryce is the son of Scott and Lori Pierce.
 
In order to receive this honor, the three had to be starters on their
school's football team, have a Cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better at the end of
their junior year and have been involved in other extra-curricular
activities.
