Decorah Chamber offering agriculture scholarships

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has scholarship applications available for high school seniors attending school in Winneshiek County and NICC agriculture students.
 
The $350 scholarship will be awarded to students who show a passion for agriculture, the community and learning. High school applicants must plan to study agriculture in their post high school education.  NICC applicants must be enrolled in an agriculture program.  One high school and one NICC scholarship will be awarded.

www.decorahareachamber.com/agriculture , at the Chamber office located at 507 West Water Street in Decorah and by calling 563-382-3990.  The deadline for applications is February 28, 2014. All scholarship applications must be postmarked by that date or delivered to the Chamber by 5 p.m. for consideration.
 
Winners will be notified in advance with award recognition to take place at the 13th Annual Ag Appreciation Luncheon on March 19, 2014.
