Iowa State University Extension has hired a new Regional Director for Northeast Iowa. Kraig Tweed is housed in the Winneshiek County office, but will also work with county staffs in Howard, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Fayette and Clayton counties.
Tweed attended Wayland Baptist University, Plainview Texas, where he finished his graduate degree while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Tweed comes to Decorah from Jefferson, Iowa. Tweed and his wife are originally from North Dakota and have two grown children.
As a regional director, Tweed will work with county staff and councils and ISU Extension staff to plan programming in Northeast Iowa around common priority issues.
