KDEC Radio, former band promoter Jim Juve elected to Iowa Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame

KDEC Radio in Decorah and former DJ and band promoter Jim Juve have been elected as  2014 Iowa Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Inductees.

Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association Executive Director Jenna Hardy Pedersen tells decorahnews.com that Juve and KDEC were elected because of their work in helping to preserve the legacy of roll & roll in Iowa.

They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in Arnolds Park over the Labor Day Weekend.  The induction ceremony will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 31st, at the SAMI Center in Spirit Lake.  The "Induction Concert" featuring performing groups will take place Sunday night, August 31st, at the Roof Garden in Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
