Decorah's Skyline Construction earns $3.35 million contract from Iowa DOT

The Iowa Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to Skyline Construction of Decorah for the reconstruction of nearly ten miles of road in Dubuque County.

The contract involves Dubuque County Highway Y-13 from just south of Farley to just north of Cascade.  The work includes laying a rockbase and doing grading on the 9.6 miles of the road.  Skyline will excavate 300,000 cubic yards of material along the road.  It will lay 125,000 tons of rock base, will install around 2,000 feet of pipe and will build one box culvert.

Skyline Construction will be paid $3,350,000 for the project.
