The Fayette County Sheriff's Department says a Decorah woman was not at fault in the death of a pedestrian who was struck by the women's car in Fayette on Saturday.
72-year-old Clark Phelps of Fayette died Monday from injuries received Saturday when he,was crossing Highway 150 in Fayette at 5:49 p.m and was struck by a car driven by 32-year-old Trisha Ryan of Decorah.
Phelps was taken to Palmer Hospital in West Union and later transferred to the University of Iowa Hospital, where he died Monday.
Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies say Ryan was not at fault and no charges have been filed in connection with the accident.
