Kent Klocke recognized for 16 years of service on the Decorah Park-Rec Board

Wednesday night's Decorah Park-Rec Board meeting was the final official meeting for Kent Klocke of Decorah, who decided not to seek re-election earlier this year after four terms spanning 16 years on the board,

Kent was presented a Proclamation extending gratitude for the "professionalism, spirit of cooperation, and overall dedication" consistently demonstrated by him in his service to the City of Decorah.

Shirley Vermace was elected to fill the open position and starts her term in January 2014.
