Waucoma resident ticketed following traffic accident on Highway 24

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department responded to a traffic accident Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 24 and County V-64 in Jackson Junction.

Jamie Hageman of Waucoma turned onto Highway 24, but did not see a car driven by Michelle Pett of Fredericksburg and collided with the car.  The accident did a total of $7,500 in damages.  Hageman was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield from a stop[ sign.
